There is a joy that comes in pushing oneself beyond one's prior limitations. Our limitations vary from person to person, situation to situation.

It can be too easy to give up and accept defeat. Diets are a perfect example of this. In order to be successful we have to push ourselves to places we often don't want to push ourself too.

And yet when we do it, we have the potential to achieve the uncommon. patch panel

Hi Kathy,

I like what you said about diets are a part of us pushing ourselves. In other words finding our boundaries, and making a valid attempt to push past them. I think the important part of this is to know the effectiveness and any adverse aftereffects of a particular diet. I recently tried the cabbage soup diet and 3 pounds less and with several negative physical attributes later, I am here to advice people against this particular diet.
